Update: Man located in Kincardine threat investigation

South Bruce OPP is thanking the public for helping track down a person of interest in an altercation in Kincardine on Tuesday.

According to police, one individual uttered threats to cause death in the area of Queen Street and Durham Street.

Earlier on Thursday, police issued a call for tips to locate a person of interest in the investigation. He was described as a White male, in his 60s or 70s, with a grey beard, standing around 5'5" tall.

Police say the man has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
