Three Huron beaches unsafe for swimming

The Huron Perth Public Health Inspection Team has found a few area beaches to be unsafe for swimming this week.

Weekly testing showed high levels of E.coli bacteria in the waters of Goderich Main, Port Albert, and Ashfield Township Park beaches.

The Health Unit has posted warnings that swimming is not recommended at the three beaches, as users could be exposed to bacteria that may cause diarrhea or infections of your ears, nose, throat, eyes, and skin.

The waters will be resampled on Friday, with updated results shared on Saturday.
