UPDATE: Police locate two lost youth in wooded area

Officers with the Huron County OPP have found two missing youth that were lost in a wooded area in Huron East in good health.

Police shared on "X", formerly Twitter, that officers were looking in a wooded area in the Vanastra and Clinton area for two youth who had become lost in the bush.

There was an increased police presence in the area, and police confirmed just before 2:30 p.m. that the two kids, aged 10 and 12, were found safe and in good health.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
