OPP collecting back to school supplies to donate to families in need

The South Bruce OPP are collecting back to school supplies until school starts this year.

Donation bins have been set up at both South Bruce OPP detachments. One is at 700 Kincardine Avenue in Kincardine, and the other can be found at 25 Bruce Road 19 in Walkerton.

Items being sought to help out students and their families include backpacks and lunch bags, pencils, pens and highlighters, erasers and whiteout, art supplies, calculators, binders, lined paper, rulers and protractor sets.

Any donation of the following items would be greatly appreciated. The bins will remain at the two OPP detachments until the 2025-26 school year gets underway. Then the supplies will be donated to local schools to distribute.
