Three men arrested for allegedly stealing from Palmerston business

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three men for allegedly stealing metal in Palmerston.

Back on July 26, police received a report of a theft in progress at a local business.

When officers arrived, three men reportedly fled but were later caught and arrested.

The men, a 33-year-old from Listowel, a 35-year-old from Listowel, and a 40-year-old from Atwood, have since been charged with theft under $5,000, break and enter, and possession of break-in instruments.

Each has been released from custody with future court dates in Guelph.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
