Hanover police arrest man for using stolen cheques

A fraud case in Hanover is a reminder for people to keep track of their cheque books

Hanover police officers arrested a 32-year-old Hanover man for Fraud Under $5,000, uttering forged documents, and possession of stolen property after completing an investigation related to stolen cheques.

Police reported on the social media site X that others have also been arrested in connection with the same case.

Police advised that if any cheques go missing, you should cancel them with your local financial institution.
