Tractor-trailer rollover temporarily closes highway near Mount Forest

There was major headaches for drivers near Mount Forest after a tractor-trailer rollover closed a main route during the morning commute on Thursday.

Emergency crews were called to the crash on Highway 89 between Concession 2 and Grey Road 14/Wellington Road 14 around 5:30 a.m.

Injuries from the collision were minor, West Region OPP said in a post on social media.

The section of highway was closed until early in the afternoon while investigators probed the cause and debris was cleared.

Police did not indicate what the tractor-trailer was hauling or whether it spilled its load.
