Chesley Homecoming kicks off

Homecoming weekend has arrived in Chesley.

The town is ready to welcome visitors and residents alike for a packed schedule of family fun and community spirit.

The 2025 Chesley Homecoming kicks off Friday with the official opening ceremony at 5 p.m., launching a weekend full of tournaments, live music, food trucks, and entertainment for all ages.

Events include a parade Saturday morning at 10, youth road hockey, beach volleyball, cornhole, and even some down-home fun with the Redneck Games. A dedicated Kids Zone and Vendors’ Market will also be running throughout the weekend.

Organizers say it’s one of the biggest homecoming schedules yet, with dances and dinners planned to keep the good times going late into the evening.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
