OPP unveil Civic Holiday traffic campaign numbers

OPP officers across the province laid hundreds of impaired driving charges and thousands of speeding charges during the Civic Holiday Traffic Blitz.

Across Ontario, the OPP laid 204 impaired driving charges, as well as 3,610 speed-related charges, 512 seatbelt infractions, 77 distracted driving charges, and 170 charges against drivers accused of violating the "move over law."

The OPP is reminding everyone that just because this recent safety blitz is over doesn't mean there still won't be heavy enforcement on roadways province-wide.
