Break-and-enter theft at local business being investigated by police

A break-and-enter theft that saw $20,000 worth of tools stolen is being investigated by Wellington County OPP.

According to police, they were contacted about a break-and-enter that occurred sometime between August 16 and August 18 on Durham Street West in Mount Forest.

Unknown suspects cut into the walls of a shipping container and managed to steal a bunch of tools which are valued at over $20,000.

Police are actively investigating and a re seeking any tips from the public. If you have any information, contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
