Police looking into "incidents" at local golf tournament

A recent golf tournament in Mitchell is being investigated after police were made aware of some "incidents" that occurred during the tournament.

According to a press release from the Perth County OPP, the tournament took place at the Mitchell Golf Course on August 2.

Police say the Perth County OPP Crime Unit is investigating, but police did not specify what the "incidents" that are being looked into are.

Investigators are asking any attendees or staff at the tournament who saw anything concerning to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
