According to Wellington County OPP, on August 20 at 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a reported disturbance at a home in Drayton.
As a result of an investigation, a 65-year-old Drayton man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, assault and utter threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
