Job Fair in Wingham to connect job seekers with regional employers

Job seekers will have an opportunity to explore a wide range of career options at an upcoming job fair in Wingham.

The Township of North Huron is hosting the free event on Tuesday, September 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Wingham Columbus Centre, located at 99 Kerr Drive.

Organizers expect the event to help connect individuals at all stages of their careers with employers across the region. Opportunities will be available in agriculture, healthcare, construction, trades, technical services, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, retail, food service, and administration. Seasonal and entry-level positions, as well as professional and leadership roles, will also be featured.

Specific job openings include registered practical nurses, personal support workers, electricians, HVAC technicians, production supervisors, logistics coordinators, AZ drivers, community support workers, and snow plow operators. Students seeking part-time evening and weekend work will also find opportunities with local businesses.

“Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your career, this is a chance to meet face-to-face with employers and learn about the opportunities available right here in our communities,” organizers said.

The event is free to attend and open to everyone. For more details, including a list of participating employers, visit the North Huron economic development webpage.
