Police investigating theft of copper wire in Goderich

Police are investigating a recent theft of copper wire in Goderich.

According to Huron County OPP, on August 11 officers were contacted by Erth Power staff in Goderich.

The staff informed police that copper wire from nine hydro poles on Parsons Court had been stolen by unknown suspects.

The value of the wire is several hundred dollars, however, the cost of repair to the poles is estimated to be much more than that.
