Bruce County accepting applications for The Spark Mentorship and Grants Program

Bruce County is now taking applications for local tourism ideas through the Spark Mentorship and Grants Program.

According to a media release from Bruce County, the program provides selected applicants with a $3,000 grant to expert mentorship from industry professionals, and additional partner support to help get new local tourism ideas off the ground.

The funding and program are a partnership between Bruce County, Bruce Power, the Bruce Grey Simcoe Regional Tourism Organization and the Tourism Innovation Lab.

The county is looking for ideas that "enhance Bruce County's existing tourism landscape, create high-quality, low-impact visitor experiences, fill gaps in current tourism products and services, encourage longer stays and repeat visits, increase shoulder season tourism and spending and that demonstrate genuine sustainability," according to the release.

Entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations located in Bruce County can apply.
