OPP investigating break-and-enter and damage at Arran landfill site

South Bruce OPP are investigating a recent break-in at a local landfill site that resulted in $1,000 in damage.

According to police, on September 13 officers received a report of an overnight break-and-enter to a landfill site located along Sideroad 20 Arran in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime between September 12 at 2:30 p.m. and September 13 at 7:15 a.m.

Unknown suspects came to the landfill site and broke into two outbuildings and two storage containers, and caused $1,000 in damages.

Anyone with information in relation to this investigation is asked to contact the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
