Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh to hold public open house on short-term rental bylaw

A public open house and information session will be held regarding Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW) Council's Draft Licensing By-Law for Short-Term Rentals.

Council endorsed the draft bylaw and has requested the Short-Term Rental Committee to proceed with public consultation.

That will happen on Saturday, September 20 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Kingsbridge Centre Basement.

A press release from the township shares that the bylaw is "designed to balance the benefits of STRs in the community with the need to address concerns related to safety, neighbourhood compatibility, and long-term housing availability."

ACW Council wants to hear from the public, including residents, short-term rental owners, and other stakeholders. Feedback can be given through a Public Feedback Form. You can find the form here: https://acwtownship.ca/government/projects-initiatives/short-term-rentals
