Health Unit seeking dog after Seaforth incident

Huron Perth Public Health is asking for help tracking down a dog involved in an incident in Seaforth over the weekend.

The health unit says it happened Saturday, September 20, 2025 around 1:15pm in front of The Candy Store on Main Street South. The dog is described as black and believed to be a Husky, and was on a leash with a person who had blonde hair in a ponytail and was wearing glasses.

Officials want to confirm if the dog’s rabies vaccinations are up to date.
