Search for runaway brings increased police presence to Paisley

A flood of police officers in Paisley was related to the search for a young person who had runaway from home.

South Bruce OPP, along with members of the OPP aviation and canine units, zeroed in on the local trail system late Tuesday afternoon into the evening.

In a post to social media, OPP only said the increased police presence was related to a "search" and that there was no threat to public safety.

An update provided on Wednesday morning, confirmed police were in the area looking for the missing youth.

After containing the area, the young person was soon found in good health, police said.
