Vanastra to celebrate establishment of new local park with MPP Lisa Thompson

A celebration for a soon-to-be new park in Vanastra will be held soon.

The Municipality of Huron East has shared that on October 16 at 11:30 a.m., Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson will be at Halifax Street in Vanastra to celebrate the receipt of an Ontario government grant funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).

This grant of $115,200 will help fund a new outdoor park for the community, featuring a multi-use sport court, fitness equipment, and a challenging climber.

The celebration will also feature the unveiling of the name for the new park.
