Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health to host not-for-profit housing discussion

The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH) is continuing its lecture series with an upcoming discussion on not-for-profit housing.

On Tuesday, October 21 from noon until 1 p.m. on Zoom, the Gateway Centre will welcome Dr. Kathy Vassilakos, Director of United Housing for Perth-Huron United Way, to present on “United Housing – Not-for-Profit Housing in Perth Huron. Building Partnerships.”

This discussion will shine a light on Perth-Huron United Way’s first not-for-profit housing project, committed to creating and sustaining mixed-income rental units in Listowel.

Joining Dr. Vassilakos in this discussion is Denise Van Amersfoort, Manager of Planning at the County of Huron, and Colin Carmichael, Executive Director at the Huron Chamber of Commerce.
