Gowanstown resident charged in fatal crash

A Gowanstown resident has been charged with careless driving causing death following an investigation into a fatal crash this past summer.

According to Perth County OPP, police began on August 12 after a motorcycle driver was killed when their bike collided with a passenger vehicle on Perth Line 88 at Perth Road 140.

On October 15, police charged a 23-year-old from Gowanstown with careless driving causing death.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on November 25 to answer to the charge.
