Missing Stratford man wanted for assault found

Stratford police say a wanted 41-year-old man who had been missing since last week has been found.

Brandon Taylor was located safe one day after police expressed concern for his wellbeing. He had not been seen since leaving his Stratford home early on October 15. An arrest warrant was later issued for Taylor in relation to an assault that had occurred at the home.

"Although Brandon is still wanted for the offence of assault, there are now concerns for his wellbeing, resulting in him being deemed a missing person," police said in a statement issued on Sunday afternoon. "The Stratford Police Service would like to emphasize that [Taylor's] wellbeing is of paramount importance."

By late Monday morning, police confirmed Taylor had been found and thanked the public for their help in the matter.
