Lucknow and District Kinsmen make big donation to Wingham and District Hospital

The Lucknow and District Kinsmen have donated a significant amount of money to the Wingham and District Hospital.

According to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation, the Kinsmen donated $60,000 to the hospital.

The money will go towards a new bone density scanner, which provides a service that was not previously available in the area. Bone density scans are an important diagnostic tool that help detect osteoporosis and assess fracture risk.

These funds donated by the Lucknow and District Kinsmen came from the continued success of Music in the Fields and the Dungannon Superpull and Demo Derby this past summer.

"The Kinsmen and the many volunteers behind Music in the Fields and the Dungannon Superpull make an incredible difference in our community," said Nicole Duquette-Jutzi, Executive Director of the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation. "Their dedication, generosity, and the countless hours they invest directly translates to quality health care close to home."
