$40M winning lotto ticket sold in Grey County

Someone in Grey County has 40 million reasons to smile Wednesday morning.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has announced the $40 million winning ticket to Tuesday night's Lotto Max draw was sold somewhere in Grey County. Anyone who bought a ticket in the area is advised to check their numbers. That can be done either through the OLG app or at any participating retailer.

This is the latest in an ever-growing number of Lotto Max jackpots won in Ontario in 2025. So far this year, there have been six with a $60 million ticket sold in Etobicoke, a $25 million winner in Willowdale, a $40 million jackpot in Oshawa, a $65 million ticket sold in Newmarket, and a massive $75 million winner in Kingston.

The next Lotto Max draw, worth an estimated $10 million, will be held on Friday night.
