Renovated Brussels emergency services base holds open house

Huron County residents are being invited to tour the newly renovated Brussels Fire Hall and Paramedic Base next week.

The Huron East Fire Department and Huron County Emergency Services will host an open house at the updated facility on Wednesday, November 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 51 CNR Road in Brussels.

Visitors can explore the upgraded building, learn more about local fire and paramedic operations, and enjoy light refreshments.

"The Brussels Station of the Huron East Fire Department is excited to welcome the public to see the newly completed renovations," said fire department representatives. "It’s important to us that our community has opportunities to learn more about their local emergency services."

Huron County’s Director of Emergency Services, Jeff Horseman, added that the partnership with Huron East strengthens local response.

"By working together, we’re able to provide efficient, high-quality emergency services to the community when they’re needed most," he said.

More details about the local fire and paramedic services are available on the Municipality of Huron East and County of Huron websites.
