Residents of Midwestern Ontario may have to fire up their snowblowers and stretch their shovelling muscles later this week.
Environment Canada has issued snow squall watches for the region. Forecasters say snow squalls could develop and bring heavy snow to parts of the region.
The watches are in effect for Bruce County, Perth County, Huron County, Grey County, and Wellington County.
Environment Canada says it's possible that parts of these areas could see 15-30 centimetres of snow.
"Snow squalls will shift throughout the day on Thursday before locking in place Thursday night," Environment Canada said. "Strong winds are also expected for some locations. These strong winds will further reduce visibility in blowing snow."
Drivers are advised to be aware of changing weather conditions and plan accordingly.
