Driver sought after mug thrown at big rig

Provincial police are asking for the public's help identifying a driver after a coffee cup was thrown at the windshield of a transport truck in West Perth.

The big rig was travelling on Perth Line 20 around 9 a.m. last Friday when it was hit with the ceramic mug. Perth OPP allege the cup was thrown from a black Ford F-150 crew cab pickup truck that was heading eastbound.

The suspect vehicle is additionally described as having a 2009 to 2015 body style with an off-set front licence plate and dark plate cover.

No injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone with information or video surveillance from the area to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
