Mischief incident in Exeter results in numerous charges

A recent mischief incident in Exeter has resulted in numerous charges against a South Huron man.

According to Huron County OPP, on November 4 just after 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a mischief and harassment at a business address on Main Street South in Exeter.

Investigators determined that the suspect allegedly attempted to break into the locked business and harass an employee inside.

The suspect was quickly arrested by police. As a result, the 27-year-old South Huron man is facing charges of criminal harassment, mischief under $5,000 and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and remanded into custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
