A heavy police presence in Arthur has ended after what police called an "active incident."
A social media post from the OPP West Region just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday said that Wellington County OPP were at the scene of the incident and a heavy police presence was in the area of Tucker Street in Arthur.
Police shared at the time that there was no threat to public safety.
The police presence was cleared out just before 4 p.m.
