Thick fog leads to school bus cancellations in Huron-Perth

Many school buses in Huron and Perth counties will remain parked Wednesday morning.

The morning routes in the two counties were cancelled as thick fog blanketed the region. Huron Perth Student Transportation Services noted that those routes would be running again Wednesday afternoon. For the full list of cancellations click here.

Environment Canada has a yellow-level fog advisory in place for Huron, Perth and north Wellington counties.

Visibility is near zero in spots and can be suddenly reduced at times.

Drivers are reminded to turn on their vehicle's exterior lights and maintain a safe following distance.

The fog is expected to lift later in the morning, leaving sunshine and a mild daytime high of 6 C.
