Equipment stolen from Southgate property

Grey Bruce OPP is asking for tips as they investigate the theft of construction equipment from a rural property in the Township of Southgate.

According to police, between Monday, April 27 and Friday, May 1, individuals attended a property in the area of Grey Road 14 and Southgate Road 10 and stole several high‑value items.

The items reported stolen include a Case 580EP backhoe/loader, an enclosed V-Nose Trailer (licence plate: AD708T), and a utility trailer (licence plate: M7455L).

The OPP is asking residents and businesses in the area to review any available surveillance or dash camera footage from the timeframe of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1‑888‑310‑1122.
