Health Unit looking for pet owner after bite at Kincardine dog park

According to the Health Unit, the incident occurred around around 12:30 p.m. at the park on Bruce Avenue.

The victim was trying to separate his dogs from the other dog when he was bitten.

The dog that bit him is described as a mixed breed dog, with black fur and white markings. The dog was with a woman, described as being in her mid-20s, and a man, believed to be in his 30s.

The Health Unit says it needs to confirm the dog involved in this biting incident is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
