Off the Wall Stratford unveils 2026 summer workshop lineup

A Stratford arts organization is preparing to offer a wide range of hands-on theatre production workshops this summer.

The Off the Wall Stratford Artists Alliance has announced its Summer 2026 workshop lineup, featuring courses in scenic painting, set and costume design, prop and puppet making, artistic welding, sculpting, theatrical carpentry, and stage makeup.

Among the featured programs are two scenic painting workshops running in August. "Scenic Painting for Theatre," scheduled for August 3 to 7, will teach participants techniques used to create realistic brick, wood, marble and concrete finishes, along with aging and distressing methods. A second workshop, "Scenic Art Drops and Murals," runs August 10 to 14 and focuses on large-scale backdrop painting and theatrical mural work.

The workshops are designed for a range of experience levels, from beginners to artists pursuing careers in theatre production.

Programs will take place at Off the Wall Stratford’s facility on King Street in Stratford throughout the summer.
