The West Grey Library will partner with Earth Works West Grey to host a repair café for residents.
This event will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Durham Town Hall.
Earth Works West Grey will provide volunteers who will help make people's useful but damaged household items ready for service for another few years. Past sessions have seen clothing, shoes, heaters, fans, lamps, bikes and more returned to action.
The West Grey Library notes that the bike repair expert will not be available at the session in Durham, other experts will be there to help repair soft goods, small appliances, garden tools and other household items. That includes a table specifically to repair stuffed animals.
