Police say an increased presence will continue in Huron-Kinloss as the search continues for a man involved in an early morning incident.
Members of the South Bruce Detachment of the OPP say they are "concerned for the safety of this individual" after responding to a report of a man in distress at a residence on Amberley Beach Road just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Officers have set up a containment area with support from the OPP Aviation Unit, Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team, and say residents "will notice an increased police presence in the area."
Police are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
The investigation is ongoing.
