A section of a main road in and out of Owen Sound will be shut down for two days this week.
The City of Owen Sound announced that 9th Avenue East (Highway 6) between 8th Street East and 9th Street will fully close Monday and Tuesday for the installation of sanitary sewer service to a private property.
A detour will be set up directing drivers between 8th Street East, 16th Avenue East, and 10th Street East.
Public transit routes will also be affected by the closure. Riders are advised to check the transit app for real-time, detailed information.
