A teenager has been charged following a robbery in Harriston.
According to Wellington County OPP, on June 20 at 7 p.m., officers responded to a reported robbery in the area of Mill Street and Elizabeth Street in Harriston.
Police said cash, electronics, and other items were taken from a victim after they were assaulted. Injuries were minor, police said.
Following an investigation, a 14-year-old from North Perth has been charged with robbery with theft.
The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information regarding the incident to contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
