Update: Power back on for Hanover

Over 800 customers in Hanover had their power restored Friday afternoon after an outage in the morning as a result of downed hydro lines.

The downed lines were on Ninth Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Street, and 14th Street between 10th Avenue and Eighth Avenue.

Westario said the disruption was caused by a downed tree.

Hanover Police Chief Chris Knoll reported that the lines were on fire when crews first arrived on scene.
