Kincardine Hospital fundraiser nearing $18M goal

The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation is getting very close to its $18 million fundraising goal for the Kincardine Hospital redevelopment.

The redevelopment and MRI project has now raised $15.5 million as of September 17, with a number of events coming up that will continue to help raise the remaining funds needed.

Among those events is the Foundation hosting a booth at the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo, taking place just outside Walkerton in the Municipality of Brockton from September 22-26.

Also, the inaugural Lighthouse to Lighthouse Half Marathon and 5K will be held on October 4, and the annual Diwali Dinner will be held October 22 by The Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre.
