Amberley Road/Hwy 86 has reopened following a serious collision that closed the road in Wingham.
According to the OPP, Amberley Road/Hwy 86 was closed between London Road and Currie Line on Wednesday at 10:25 p.m. following a crash between a passenger vehicle and a cargo van.
The stretch was closed for nearly 14 hours while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene of the crash.
One person was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police cleared the scene and reopened the roadway around 12:40 Thursday afternoon. The cause of the crash remains under investigation
