Ironmen Take Narrow Double OT Thriller In Brussels

As even as even could be in Saturday night action between the Wingham Ironmen and Kincardine Bulldogs. The Ironmen would win in double overtime on a goal by Greg Scott.

Both sides were evenly played the whole way through. Matching each other shot for shot heading into overtime.

It was in the extra frames where the Bulldogs ran out of gas. Coming off a big 2-1 win in Walkerton last night, Kincardine was unable to muster a shot in OT.

Ryan McNeil opened the scoring for the host Ironmen - who were calling Brussels their home for the night. Shawn Moore even things up for the visitors. both goals came in the second period and on the power play.

Wingham will be back on the ice tomorrow when they head to Hanover to face the Barons.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
