Barons Down Flyers In Overtime

A narrow game between Hanover and Goderich ended in a 3-2 OT win for the visiting Barons.

Tyson Soers set up Jarrett Kuntz on the power play to give Hanover a 1-0 lead in the second after a scoreless first period. Goderich would respond before the end of the frame.

In the third, Kuntz would return the favour to his teammate, setting up Soers for the 2-1 lead. The Flyers would force overtime with a goal from Adam Cousins.

It would be the power play once again getting things done for Hanover. Jarrett Kuntz scores the game winner and his second of the night on the PP.

Goderich suffered another loss in the game. Goaltender Pat Do would leave in the second period after a collision with Hanover's Luke Heathers. Nathan Watson finished the game in relief.

The win puts the Barons at .500 for the season, sitting in fourth place in the league.

As part of two games on the schedule tomorrow, the Flyers take on the Mitchell Hawks. Jordan Johnson had been called up to replace Pat Do after leaving last nights game.
