Ironmen Team Up With Local Pageant Winner For Teddy Bear Toss

The Wingham Ironmen will hold their teddy bear toss night on Friday, December 12th during their game against the Goderich Flyers.

Also in attendance will be Hunter Skinn, the reigning Ontario Little Miss Princess. Skinn, who was also the Wingham Homecoming Princess, is looking to help others this holiday season.

The Ironmen, Flyers, Skinn and the Ontario Miss Mid West Pageant Committee  have teamed up to help children and families in Huron County.

All teddy bears collected at the game will be taken to the Huron County Children's Aid Society in Goderich.

Around the league: Other teams in Western Junior C have already held their Teddy Bear Toss. Hanover held one on December 6th and Goderich on November 23rd.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
