Cyclones Open 2015 With a Loss

The Listowel Cyclones' offence was unable to muster much in a 4-1 loss to the Kitchener Dutchmen.

After a scoreless first, Kitchener would score two in each of the remaining periods. Tim Nauta would break the goose-egg with his 13th.

Getting the start for the hosts was Tyler Fassl. He made 31 stops on 35 shots in a losing effort.

The Cyclones complete a home and home with the Dutchmen Sunday in Kitchener. Puck drop is 1:30.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
