Cyclones Pick Up Huber

The Listowel Cyclones made a splash Saturday by picking up Jamie Huber from the Elmira Sugar Kings. Going the other way is Kevin Gergely.

A native of Goderich, Huber has six goals and 14 assists for 20 points so far for the Sugar Kings.

He made himself a known talent last year with the Wingham Ironmen with 82 points during his first season of junior hockey. His performance was good enough for the North Bay Battalion to take him in the recent OHL Priority Selection.

The deal is the second big acquisition for the Cyclones, who picked up Brampton captain Ethan Morrison.

Huber's debut will likely come Sunday afternoon, when Listowel faces the Bombers in Brampton.
