Cyclones Win High Scoring Thriller

The Listowel Cyclones offence came alive Friday night in a 7-6 win over the Guelph Hurricanes at Listowel Memorial Arena.

From the drop of the puck, both teams came to play, trading goals in a six goal first period.

At 3-3 going into the second, the visiting Hurricanes scored twice to open up the frame. Chayse Herrfort scored his first of the night with Brady Anderson adding another to start the first comeback that Listowel would need.

In the third, Guelph opened up a 6-5 lead in just under four minutes. Later, the Hurricanes took a too many men penalty, it would prove costly.

With one goal on the power play already in the contest, Listowel pulled out another comeback with the man advantage. Brady Anderson scored his second of the night with Chayse Herrfort potting the winning goal just over a minute later.
