Huron County Native O'Reilly Plays in AHL All-Star Game

Cal O'Reilly took the ice last night in his new home of Utica, New York for the AHL All-Star game. The local of Varna plays in town for the Comets, the Vancouver Canucks affiliate.

The West beat the East 14-12 in the mid-season classic. O'Reilly chipped in with an assist for the winning side.

Team Captain for the Comets, O'Reilly was joined by teammates Jacob Markstrom, Bobby Sanguinetti and coach Travis Green.

Charles Hudon of the Hamilton Bulldogs continued his hot start to the season with a  hat trick. He was one of three players to score 3 in the game.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
