Cyclones Get Back On Track

The Listowel Cyclones shook up a crush in defeat to Stratford to take down the Brampton Bombers 5-2 Sunday afternoon. On Friday the Cyclones lost to the Cullitons 9-1 Friday.

Brady Anderson opened the scoring the first en route to a two goal night. Jordan Caskenette, Jamie Huber and Derek Elliot added singles in the win.

Getting an assist in the game was Tanner Mighton, making his first appearance of the season. The Durham native is a welcome addition to the blue line with 40 points in 83 games coming in.

With the win in goal was Tyler Fassl, making 28 saves on 30 shots. The Cyclones put up 41 shots in the win.

It is a relatively quick turnaround for Listowel, they start a back to back Thursday in Guelph before starting a 3 game home stand.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
