Owen Sound to Host Subway Super Series Game in November

Owen Sound is set to host some of the best in junior hockey this fall.

The Scenic City will host Game 3 of the Subway Super Series between a select Canadian Hockey League team and the Russian National Junior Team.

That game will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

“Our entire organization is very excited for the opportunity to host this event.”, said Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. “We’re very pleased that we can bring one of the Canadian Hockey League’s showcase events to the City of Owen Sound, Grey-Bruce and our fans. The Subway Super Series will provide a unique experience for many and if the past several years are any indication; another chapter of exciting hockey in the Canada/Russia rivalry.”

Tickets for the game can be found at the Owen Sound Attack Box Office for $25 and $15 for kids 18 and under.

The six-game series, which will be broadcast nationally on Sportsnet, will start with Game One in Kelowna, British Columbia on November 9th before moving to nearby Kamloops the next day. After the Owen Sound date, the two teams will travel to Windsor, Rouyn-Noranda (QC) and Halifax (NS) to wrap up the series.
